Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc Premieres in April With 1-Hour TV Special

The First episode to Air in Theaters in over 80+ countries after Feb-3

The special broadcast of Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train ended on Saturday with an announcement that the franchise's upcoming anime, the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc anime will premiere in April with a 1-hour special. In addition, the first episode of Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc, The Upper Ranks Gathering will play in theaters in over 80+ countries and territories from February 3.

The screenings will include episodes 10(Never Give Up) and 11(No Matter How Many Lives) of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc, as well as the first Swordsmith Village Arc episode(Upper-Rank Demons Meeting) 

World Tour screenings include those in the following regions -

1) Japan: February 3

2) Tokyo: Special screenings and Guest appearances on February 4th and 5th

3) US and Canada: March 3

4) Paris: February 25

5) Berlin: February 26

6) Mexico City: March 4

7) Seoul: March 11

8) Taipei: March 19

Director Haruo Sotozaki, character designer & chief animation director Akira Matsushima, the animation production studio ufotable, and the main cast are all returning for the new Swordsmith village arc.

The first television anime of Koyoharu Gotouge's - Demon Slayer manga premiered in April 2019. AniplexUSA licensed the series and aired it on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Toonami programming block aired the television version of anime in Oct 2019.

Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train/Infinity Train anime film began screening in Japan in Oct 2020. Crunchyroll & Funimation are airing the film.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train/Infinity Train Arc, a seven-episode arc adapting the film Mugen Train, premiered in Oct 2021. Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc television anime then premiered on Dec 5th with a 1-hour special. Funimation and Crunchyroll both streamed the Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc on their platforms.

Gotouge launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. The manga came to an end in May 2020. Manga's 23rd/final compiled book volume in December 2020. Viz Media published the manga in the English language.
